People have debated whether July 4, 1776 was the TRUE founding of America. The New York Times's "1619 project" argues that it was truly 1619, the year the first slaves arrived in America, was the true founding of America. 1492, the year two worlds met for the first time, also seems like a promising candidate. However, all of these are incorrect. The TRUE founding of America was 80 million years ago, when North America split from Eurasia(however, this was not due to controversy about taxation).

I don't get why everybody fawns over Ronald Regan. I always thought that illegally selling weapons and then illegally giving a portion of the money (which was illegally allocated for the weapons) to the Contras was a BAD thing.
